Quarterly Fire Door Inspections
We carry out quarterly inspections on all existing fire doors, addressing any issues as they arise. Remedial works include installing new lippings, hinges, overhead closers, and adding vents to doors where required to maintain compliance with fire safety regulations.
Certain doors, such as door-set riser cupboards, required full replacement. As these are bespoke doors, lead times for manufacturing and delivery were approximately 12 weeks.
MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO OPERATIONS
All works for this project were successfully completed over four months. One of the main challenges was that some doors needed to be removed off-site for repairs. Our team ensured these were returned and reinstalled on the same day, minimising disruption to building operations.
Through this structured approach, we ensure that all fire doors remain fully functional, compliant, and safe for building occupants.
